haha sorry for the caps, but i couldn't express my excitement and pleasure from seeing this any other way lol. Obviously I'm a Layton x Flora shipper. To be quite honest, even in the North American Version of Curious Village, I personally thought that in the Baron's final message to Flora, it is implied that her rescuer is to be her husband. I think this is further supported by a fan theory I saw where the only way that Flora's apple birthmark is seen is if she is smiling while undressed (because her dresses cover her neck, and the only way Layton noticed it in the game was after he asked her for the lace to the neck part of the dress to make the thing they used to escape Don Paolo).
Idk, maybe I was reading all the information and dialogue/monologues wrong, but I think that Layton x Flora actually is supposed to be canon.
